DNS Cache issues

I'm helping a friend with her website. She had the domain at GoDaddy, and we successfully moved it to Dutch hoster Vimexx and connected it to her hosting.

SHE already sees it under the proper domain.
On my Mac, I don't see it (and it has been 12 hours).
On my phone in the same wifi, I DO see it.

So I figure it's something with my Mac. It does not show up in Firefox (147) and Safari. In Firefox I used "about:networking" to clear the http- and DNS-Caches. On the Mac, I used "sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder" to flush the DNS cache.

Still, it stubbornly loads the "coming soon" page from the hosting company, instead of the webpage proper.

Any idea how to tell my Mac to fetch new info?

#mac #sequoia #firefox #DNS #cache

Apple-feed hat dies geteilt.

@rainer

Current status:

- It briefly showed a (very old domain-register) page for my friend as well - she flushed the DNS cache on her macOS Sequoia, then it worked again.
- It keeps steadily working on my iPhone (no special host entry there @echopapa )
- It still fails on my Mac, despite numerous attempts of flushing the cache in OS and browser. It fals in Safari and Firefox, so it has to be OS level.
- All suggested tests all show an IP belonging to vimexx.nl (which is correct)

The page shown is the "Deze domeinnaam is geregistreerd en geparkeerd bij Vimexx" (this domain is registered and parked by vimexx) page, so we ARE on their server infrastructure already.

I haven't tested on the second Mac yet, but a second iPhone shows it properly. So we have this:

friend's Mac (located in NL): correct
my iPhone (Germany, home network): correct
other iPhone (Germany, home network): correct
my Mac (Germany, home network): wrong
other Mac (Germany, home network): wrong

The other Mac showing the wrong page is really annoying me. Guess I'll reset the router for good measure.
